Credibility

Why it works

The moat isn't the interface — it's the model of consequences. Every outcome and every piece of feedback in Edfable is grounded in recognized ECE frameworks, so educators can trust it. Feedback is framed as reflective practice aligned to these frameworks — not certification or compliance verification.

The frameworks we build on

NAEYC Professional Standards & Competencies

Six core standards, leveled nationally as ECE I/II/III.

The six NAEYC standards anchor every objective in Edfable. Each simulation maps explicitly to at least one standard so the library's coverage is intentional and grant/accreditation-legible.

CLASS

Emotional Support · Classroom Organization · Instructional Support.

The Classroom Assessment Scoring System frames the quality of teacher–child interactions. Edfable's Classroom Climate and Best-Practice Alignment meters draw directly on CLASS domains.

Pyramid Model / CSEFEL

Tiered social-emotional and behavior support.

The Pyramid Model's promotion → prevention → intervention logic grounds how Edfable scores guidance moves: acknowledging feelings and teaching strategies before correcting behavior.

Developmentally Appropriate Practice

Decisions matched to age, individual, and culture.

NAEYC's DAP position statement underpins the Social-Emotional Growth meter and the expectation that responses are developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate.

ECERS-3 / ITERS-3

Environment rating scales.

Environment rating scales inform the systems/parametric simulations (layout, materials, schedule) in later tiers.

State Licensing & Career Lattices

Each state's licensing, ratios, and career ladder — as a lens.

Edfable is national: the career ladder maps to NAEYC ECE I–III and the CDA → AA → BA pathway. State-specific licensing (ratios, health & safety) and career lattices are a swappable lens — e.g., California's Title 22 and Permit Matrix, Texas's Minimum Standards, New York's OCFS regulations. The Supervision and Professionalism simulations adapt to the selected state.

CDA Credential

Child Development Associate competency areas.

Edfable's professional-growth hours are designed to align to CDA training-hour areas once accreditation is in place.

Head Start ELOF

Early Learning Outcomes Framework.

ELOF domains inform curriculum and child-development objectives, especially in the Advanced tier.

State QRIS

Quality Rating & Improvement Systems.

QRIS structures inform how program-level quality is represented for the Leadership tier and B2B reporting.

Intentional coverage — every NAEYC standard

The full library is designed so each of the six NAEYC standards is covered by at least one simulation — including the often-missing Observation & Documentation (Standard 3) and Professionalism & Ethics (Standard 6).

A note on validity & accreditation

Items are designed to be pilot-tested and checked for expert agreement (inter-rater reliability) before a "pass" carries weight. Summative items are AI-drafted, then reviewed, approved, and locked by the qualified reviewer of record before use. Badges and certificates are labeled practice / professional-growth until external accreditation (state PD registry, IACET/CEU, CDA training-hour alignment) is in place — never implying licensure or permit issuance. State-specific instruments (e.g., DRDP, state early-learning standards) and specific rubric thresholds are placeholders to be confirmed against each state's current published frameworks before any item is used for summative scoring.

National, with a state lens

One national platform, mapped to your state

The substance is nationwide — NAEYC's standards, CLASS, the Pyramid Model, DAP, Head Start ELOF, the CDA, and QRIS. Each state's licensing, assessment instrument, and career lattice are a swappable lens layered on top. A few examples (illustrative — confirm against current state regulations):
