The build log

What's new

Real shipped product, newest first — never roadmap promises. If it's on this page, you can use it today.

  1. Platform

Everything in Edfable, on one page

A feature index at /features — simulations, the practice engine, free tools, the licensing guide, director forms, the program dashboard — with every count read from the product itself, so it can't overstate what exists.

  2. Platform

    The founding ten

Ten early-childhood educators get a year of the full curriculum free, in exchange for using it for real and telling us the truth. Apply at /founding — one of the two of us replies personally.

  3. Platform

The landing shows the product, live

The homepage hero is now a looping preview of a real simulation — choices, the child's reply, consequence meters — plus a 90-second guided tour video, and a director kit you can have by email.

  4. Español

    Spanish, at real addresses

The entire site now lives in Spanish under /es — every simulation page, resource, and all 51 state licensing pages — so Spanish-speaking educators can find, share, and search it directly.

  5. Resources

    Worksheets you can type into

Every teacher worksheet is now fillable on screen: your answers save automatically in your browser, and printing produces a clean page on Edfable letterhead — typed answers as text, empty fields as ruled lines.

  6. Resources

    The director's five forms

A new Forms area for directors: records posted in the facility, teacher files, child files, the daily health & safety sweep, and the monthly building check — checkable on screen, printable for the binder, linked to each state's cited rules.

  7. Resources

    The training workbook

Five new educator worksheets: State licensing (know your state's rules), the NAEYC teacher Q&A, the CLASS interaction self-check, Educational theories, and the 5-to-1 family contact plan.

  8. Resources

    Printed pages carry the letterhead

Anything you print from Edfable — worksheets, the planner, licensing pages, your growth record — now prints under the Edfable letterhead, ready for the binder or the staff room wall.

  9. Licensing

Compliance & operations, all 51 jurisdictions

Every state page in the licensing guide gained eight researched compliance fields — background checks, health & safety training, first aid/CPR, mandated reporting, supervision, recordkeeping, inspections, and regulated program types — each cited to the state's own regulation.

  10. Platform

    Ask Edfable

A helper that answers from our own materials only — the licensing guide, resources, theories, and curriculum — citing its sources, and saying so plainly when a question is outside them.

  11. Licensing

Family & home child care joins the guide

The licensing guide now covers family and group home child care in every state — capacities, infant limits, and the rules that differ from centers — alongside the center-based ratios it launched with.

  12. Resources

    The weekly lesson planner

A free five-day planning grid you type straight into — it saves itself in your browser and prints on one clean page.

  13. Platform

The Resource Library, Stories & the State Licensing Guide

Three foundations in one season: a library of original bilingual classroom materials, a moderated wall of real educator stories, and the cited licensing guide for all 50 states plus D.C.
