• Sanitation schedule completed — surfaces, toys, diapering, food areas.
• Medication log current; medications locked and labeled.
• First-aid kits stocked, in each room and for outings.
• Emergency drills logged on your state's schedule — fire, shelter, evacuation.
• Playground checked before use: surfacing, entrapment points, broken equipment.
• Choking-hazard sweep at the youngest group's level — floor-height, every morning.
• Cleaning products and chemicals locked away from children.
• Attendance counts reconciled at every transition.
